Los Angeles authorities have identified music artist D4vd (David Anthony Burke) as a suspect in the ongoing investigation into the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose body was found inside the front trunk of a Tesla linked to the singer.
Celeste had been missing since 2024. Her remains were discovered in September 2025 after the car was impounded by police. Due to the advanced decomposition, the cause and manner of death remain unknown, and a court has placed a security hold on all autopsy records.
Investigators searched a Hollywood Hills property tied to D4vd and believe additional individuals may have helped dispose of the body. Despite being publicly named a suspect, D4vd has not been charged, and the LAPD continues to gather forensic and digital evidence.
The case has sparked widespread attention and calls for justice as authorities work to determine what happened to Celeste and who is responsible for her death.
